Story of Surgery - Skin Cancer
I was walking to the convenient store the other day and came across a tree (what kind I don't know) that had just dropped it's leaves and the colors on the ground where in such rich hue's of yellow, orange, and red that it nearly took my breath away looking at it. I looked at it and felt such peace, and security, that it was as if God was saying "it is good." And this was a sacred space laying between a sidewalk and a ditch!
We so often just breeze past all the sacred spaces that God provides for us, usually thinking too much about ourselves and our problems. Reminds me of the old hymn Open My Eyes that I May See.
Some scenes compose it seems automatically and others are as seen in a special way by the photographers eye. In these photos, there must be eye but also heart, a heart knowing God behind much of the framing of what is around us.
Perhaps the greatest beauty God has give us is our ability through Him to do what we believe we cannot, in spite of a dismal view and fearful anticipation. God lifts and supports and loves. For me, with my appreciation of what I see from the hands of the Father, much of this creation is the very lift I need to get up and going. Now, to learn more to see people, all people as ones who should be on those streets of gold... God Bless all. Tom.
